I am pleased to announce the plans for having an Antichess Olympiad this year. The tournament will be held over MULTIPLE TIME CONTROLS to spice things up!

As finding adequate teammates is a long process, the registration for the tournament is open till the end of LAWC 2025 (expected around 30 April 2025). Please follow the restrictions on making the team if you are going to register (given in the rules).
In addition, if somebody wants to register but doesn't know whom to contact as teammates, message me, and I will put you in contact with other people looking for teammates.
Also, when you register, also give your team a team name (any non-inappropriate name is fine).

The cutting off for bombarding messages and other tournament specific points look like the sign of our smiley times :D
"The team is allowed to include players who are chatbanned, but the Captain must be willing to mediate
for the chatbanned player, and help the player schedule their matches."
Since there have been questions about this, let me clarify a few things:
1. Registering as a team does not require you to make a "team" on lichess (a team as in like the one this forum is in).
2. For the 4th, rating restricted board, the player must not have crossed the threshold rating since 1st January 2025, and must not until 25th April 2025. If the player crosses the threshold rating in this period, you have to find another player.
3. One player can only be part of one team.
btw. this rules are totally nonsense:
If a team has not one AGM, it has one player under 2100, but if a team has one AGM, so the team is stronger, it hasn't one player under 2100. Why the team without an AGM is making worster than it is, while a team with an AGM keep as same.

Udi the rules for the format has been drafted after reviewing every aspect. The Under 2000 and Under 2100 rule was included so that every rated players can have a chance to play. So follow the rules and have fun participating

Yes, but why the bad teams are making worster. The team with one AGM should have the guy under 2100

Because it should also be fair to the people on board number 4 in other teams.
However, if many people want this, it can be implemented:
If a team has no AGMs/ASGMs in their team, they have no restrictions on board 4.
(Please note that the scoring happens total and not by per board, so even if such a team wins on board 4, they still have to cover up the difference on board 1 and 2)
If at least 10 people who are over 2100 but not AGM/ASGM support this, it can be done.
