Hello everyone! I decided to answer to this forum even though I was supposed to only play correspondence until the Easter Holidays.

First of all, this is the World Atomic Front. Many people from the team have asked to join the weekly atomic tournament. So, how is that going? Should we remind the Lichess officials we are still waiting?

If that is the case, how do we expect to be allowed in other weekly tournaments in shorter time? Actually, the other World Fronts were luckier and were accepted in other variants more quickly, but I don't know how. Is something wrong with those who are responsible for Atomic?

So, besides atomic, I don't have any specific recommendation regarding what variant we should join next, but I suggest we should take into account what the other players want (obviously), because they will be more willing to play the variant they asked for. We could also take a look at the players' ratings, in order to see in what variants we are the strongest and will excel, making the team appealing to other players.

I looked it up, and we have asked for the World Atomic Front to join the Weekly Atomic Battle in lichess.org/forun/team-lichess-atomic/add-my-team-to-the-team-battle in posts #125, #134, #139 and #140. Other than that, in post #154, Aritra_saha6905 asked the Lichess atomic official why it is taking so long and whether they should consider a change in the leadership of Lichess Atomic, while in posts #153 and #157 the World Racing Kings Front and the World King Of The Hill Front requested to be added, which obviously hasn't happened...

Finally, it is time to give an answer to the initial question. This will probably be my last post (if I don't change my mind and if nothing important happens). After checking some players' ratings, it seems that three-check, crazyhouse and racing kings would be the variants we could do best, however, there are great players in the team who could carry us in any variant. In conclusion, I would suggest that the team should request being added to the three-check, racing kings and crazyhouse weekly battles to start with, in order to see how much time it will take for the team to get added to each variant. That knowledge would be useful if we decide to create more World Variant Fronts.
