Hello everyone! Welcome to our newest event!

This event series will be designed to give the best possible pairings at all times.
Each round, the players will be paired with the hardest possible pairing they have not already had that month.

The board numbers are decided by the highest-rated player on the board.
The strongest boards get more points than other boards for wins and draws, here are the point totals available.

Board one

10 points for a win
5 points for a draw
0 points for a loss

Board two

8 points for a win
4 points for a draw
0 points for a loss

Board three

6 points for a win
3 points for a draw
0 points for a loss

Board four or lower

4 points for a win
2 points for a draw
0 points for a draw

To join this event, you message me or post the phrase "I commit to the next pairing!"
in the forum. You only commit to one game at a time, unless you specify otherwise.

At the end of every month point totals are reset and we go again!

Every series will start on the first of the month other than the first one.

Month one September'24 entry is open! Because the month has already started this will be a shorter series than the rest.

Week one September 8-14th
Week two September 15-21st
Week three September 22-28th
No week four on this one, but going forward there will be all four weeks.

To sign up for the first round either message me or sign up in this forum, If you choose to sign up for multiple weeks at once make it clear in your message as the default is one round at a time.

In-order to avoid having the same pairing in two events we will swap an 1874 rating and 1865 rating for the pairings. This just makes it more interesting and that's the point of the event.
