Difficult line in the Bajonet KID: Ideas?

Yesterday I faced a tough line in the KID. I knew 13. ... Nf5 which should be a decent line recommended by GM van Kampen, but my opponent knew this Bd2 and f3-f4 himself and Black was simply worse. Any ideas are welcome.

After all I was lucky to escape with an embarrassing draw in mutual time-trouble against Elo 2250. It was the start round in a tough round-robin tournament, 9 rounds.

Believe it or not, the end position is close to plus 4...

This whole line has been played before up to move 21, where black played 21...Rb2 and white was better. Stockfish recommends 21...Bxd4+ 22 Qxd4 Rxe4 with minimal white advantage. A typical computer line, as the silicon brain has no emotions parting with Bg7. Black probably should backtrack earlier. Like 12...Bd7, 11...b6, 11...Re8. Kasparov gave up the King's Indian Defence because he said it was too much work to keep up with it.
