What the hell is happening in Portland?

I keep seeing pictures of people dressed up as giant frogs, or a guy on a unicycle playing a flame-throwing bagpipe and stuff like that.

Yeah, I guess it started with this Mexican guy (so he claimed) that was protesting against ICE in a toad costume. They pepper sprayed him to no avail (I'm Mexican ! I've eaten spicier !). Next day, lots of frog costumes, supporting the toad from another pond. Also unicorns, ice bears, panda's and more weird stuff. It makes great videos. Armed guards on the roof aiming for the unicorns, loads of guards trying to get a vehicle out acting as if the frogs and panda's are heavenly armed terrorists.
It makes ICE look totally ridiculous, I love it.

Making a mockery of Trump's notion that it's a "WARZONE CONSTANTLY ON FIRE" and exposing the lies for what they are, at its root - Portland is a bunch of silly chill but dedicated people who enjoy freedom much more than all those people armed to the teeth cheering on authoritarianism, and espouse the tenants of the constitution to a deeper degree as well.

also lol @ rural vigilantes - why don't they go ride their pickups into the ghettos of some real dangerous cities if they care so much and salivate over getting to use guns so much

or are they afraid to take anything on other than kids in costumes, not hardened criminals with guns

80-90% of all gun violence is in the cities. Raw numbers, not per capita nonsense.
