@Ratatouille237 , So when one person is banned, they can't play with people who are not banned, they can only play with people who are also banned. He did not actually get banned, he violated the Lichess Terms Of Service, and it is written on his profile.
There are 3 possible reasons why he got "banned":
1. Cheating by using an engine which gives you the best moves. This is the obvious reason, because most people get "banned" for cheating.
2. Taking help from a friend/family member. This reason also sounds like the 1st one, but it is not, because a human's thinking is VERY different from a computer's thinking. Also a person's moves can be better than a computer. There are times when a computer can't see a checkmate in one move. I checked it by playing a "One move mate" puzzle, and the computer had different moves in mind.
3. He probably had no intention to cheat. He could have been a very good player, and played Stockfish moves maybe like 3 or 4 times (Just an example), and probably never looked at the engine for best moves. So, Lichess probably thought he was cheating and accused him of violating the Lichess Terms Of Service.
Hope this answers your question. :)
