Hello

I’m on my phone, can access lichess ok. Had to reset my laptop and now can’t log in! Using the same wifi as my phone?

Says I require 2fa and I also see a big 2 Ooops you can’t sign up to lichess through tor or public proxies?

Any ideas guys?

@Grevous Your home IP is for some reason on a list of IPs that are not very reliable to log in to without 2FA
It could be that your home network has some security problem or the IP that your ISP provided you has some problem that made it end up on the list
one quick way is to enable 2FA and another way to try where the problem is

Thanks for the reply. The only weird thing is my phone is on the same internet connection!

@Grevous Login problems are not retroactive, that is, if you previously logged in using another IP (or there were no problems) your login will be maintained, but if you log out of your account you may not be able to log back in.

For as much Lichess values privacy, you would think it would be accessible by Tor.

Just logged on my PC. Same IP. No worries. Weird. Admin help!
