You can reopen your closed account. But only once.

I think Xanify reopened his account twice though... I might be wrong and it may only be once.

No, Lichess always had this rule. Some time ago there was a bug just, some players could reopen their accounts more than once. There were few cases only. But it seems about a year ago that bug was fixed. At least, in 2021 I do not see such messages anymore.

Its not confusing; you can reopen your account once, after you've closed. Only ONCE.
Either @MeloKev has closed the account two times or he could have violated ToS and cant open it.

Yes it is. If Lichess says you can reopen your account only once but you can reopen your account twice — it’s a bug. It should work exactly how it says. Otherwise there is no sense.
