Hello everyone, I am Nightstar, who has a KotH rating around 2250. I am also the team leader of King of the Hill Fans (https://lichess.org/team/king-of-the-hill-fans). I have played the variant KotH for around 3 years and I am quite active on Lichess.
A lot of players requested me to create titles for KotH, like the ones in FIDE. Thereby, I'm here to discuss with all of you KotH players and lovers about the name of the federation, how to do title tournaments, different titles, requirements for them ect. A website will be created after the successful discussion of these topics. Feel free to give opinions! There are some examples below:
Name of federation: King of the Hill Federation
Titles: KCM, KFM, KIM and KGM
Requirements for getting titles:
-KCM: Having a KotH rating of 2100 (K<50) + 3 2250 performance rating norms
-KFM: Having a KotH rating of 2200 (K<50) + 3 2350 performance rating norms
-KIM: Having a KotH rating of 2300 (K<55) + 3 2450 performance rating norms
-KGM: Having a KotH rating of 2400 (K<55) + 3 2550 performance rating norms

No, but the ones qualified and recognized. Don't worry, we will do tournaments for both Western and Eastern Players. :)
Is there precedence for this in any other variant? Why do people want titles for KotH specifically?

I may not know the reason to this but I receive only KotH players' suggestions.

This the wrong forum for posting this. This can be more efficiently done by blogs instead of forums. This is Lichess feedback, where users give idea or suggestions or report bugs.

There are a few teams for XYZ variant titles.
