At our chess club we play "move up, move down". e.g. 8 players sit at 4 tables. Table 1 is the winning board. The loser goes down and the winner goes up. This leads to more people with the same playing strength playing against each other. Can you please implement this game mode? That would be great!
@ToschTosch We kind of have something similar from the idea that people with the same playing strength are paired with each other with Arena tournaments in https://lichess.org/tournament , where the best player by rating is paired with the second best player in the first round. The way your chess club handles this sounds too niche to be implemented here in my opinion, having in mind that there's no Round Robin or Knockout System which is much more asked for.
This move up move down topic sounds interesting, I would like to try it although I would probably not win :(
