Do you ever claim draw when the opponent leaves the game ?

If the time is low enough, I'll let their time run out. If they have 34 minutes left, I'm claiming the win.
Draw if I believe the position is equal and it looks like the person got disconnected or had an emergency. I don't care that much about my rating, but maybe the other person does.
I always claim the win especially if I have a losing position. My finger just hovers over the claim win button as the countdown timer approaches zero, ready to smash the button at the speed of light just in case my opponent comes back at that moment.
It depends. If I have an overwhelming winning position (i.e. I would win anyways), or, if it's a rated game against people around my rating/lower rating, I claim a win. It is *rightfully mine*.
If the position is drawn, the person left within the first few moves of the game it's a casual game, or it's a rated game against a drastically higher rated player, I'll claim draw to be fair.
If the position is lost for me I'll also claim draw so as not to cheat the other person out of a win. I can sympathyize because I've been in winning positions where I had to leave for some other responsibilities.
It's really up to you. If you want to claim win in order to gain at others' expense, fine. But please be sure to judge fairly. It sucks when you do your responsibilities only for others to take advantage of you.
If i play with friend,I will wait until he comes back in case disconnection occured, otherwise claiming a win :)
If my position is worse, i claim draw.
If my position is better, i claim win.
