i have a suggestion for lichess.

1)why dont lichess, host tournaments for real prize money even if its just like 100$
2)why dont lichess create teams, but as in team tournaments were a team of 5 versus another team of 5 chess.com already has this were one team versus another?

  1. lichess is ad-free and free. $100 is valuable and can be used to cover server fees.

  2. I kinda like this. Allowing teams to play each other over x boards could allow schools or clubs to play against each other on lichess.

+1 for 2nd suggestion. Would love to see that on lichess!

lichess has the 4545 league. Maybe they can host some 3+3 and 15+15 too.

i think the first one is a really bad idea. People would cheat a lot, and in ways you wouldn't know.

I really like the second idea though

I've seen prize tourneys on lichess.
There are teams on lichess. Aren't there?

There are teams on lichess, yes. But they aren't afaik really useful. Team tournaments or something similar could be really fun.

Yup, 2nd sounds good. It's in the spirit of 2017 Pro Chess League.
