Well, it's generally the case (at top level games), that the side without Queen (having exchange for it), wins more than the Queen side.
And, Black got a couple of chances later but couldn't spot and you correctly took advantage of Black's epic blunder Bg4.

18. Nf6+ was planned and out of a sudden I took on g7 and thought this would be even better...

You wouldn't require to be lucky had you played winning move 18. Nf6+. Nevertheless, I guess you wouldn't think about the game again cause you won!
