I miss more classical chess formats here on Lichess, do you?

The quick pairings are for very specific time controls that are popularly used. Although there is a good sized audience that would enjoy a Classical time control, I don't know if you could agree on what time control that should be. 30+0? Maybe some people want delay. 15+15? Well, we already have that. 30+10? Too long for some people.

Just send out a custom seek and someone should bite after a while. Or, if you're open to different time controls, camp out in the lobby and wait for a challenge that looks good to come your way. Classical time controls online aren't very popular at all at higher levels, yet I can still usually find a 15+2 opponent within a minute or two.
I hope I'm not too far off-topic, but I have been playing mainly correspondence games (1 day per move) and I'm quite surprised there are those who want to play anything up to 14 days per move.

I'd be very attuned to the idea of having shorter correspondence times such as 12 or 8 hours per move. Sometimes a game can drag out for so long, you just wish it would develop more quickly so you can get to something resembling an end game.

As for the shorter blitz games, I don't have trouble finding a pairing but then again, I don't have a lot of luck finding one for a 30+10 game.
