I know that it has been replaced by the blue globe but if you hover your mouse over the blue globe it will say"Federation of Russia". Just saying.

And this is correct. Russian players cannot play under Russian flag, but they can still represent their federation, for instance Nepo does that.
Other players like Esipenko or Andreikin have chosen to represent FIDE instead and play under the FIDE flag.

I would like Lichess, to delete the Russian flag until the war ends, they can put instead like just Blue flag or FIDE flag on Lichess. So please do it until the war ends

yes same
I'm still seeing the Russian flag on profiles, is this specifically a reference to FIDE links? (At the beginning of the war, Lichess explained its stance to continue to allow the Russia/Belarus flag, and I accept their reasoning.)

What is the reasoning? If it's that people and chess on Lichess are not politics - it's wrong. The flag is a POLITICAL part of country. The flag you have, this flag means, which country's politic you are in. I have nothing bad to people who are want peace, but the Russian flag means, they are on Russia's politics side.

Thank you, and thanks to Lichess for support. But the forum is about flags. And as Lichess said they won't ban Russian and Belorussian flags. They added, Russiad-white-blue-white and Belorussia-white-red-white, but I think several people have these flags.

The flags that appear in the studies/broadcasts have a different flag due to:
Players affiliated with the chess federations of Russia and Belarus are shown with an international or FIDE flag in line with current FIDE policy (https://www.fide.com/news/1603).
In the FIDE database (https://lichess.org/fide) they remain registered in the Federations
Obviously, broadcasts will not show the original flag until the policy is changed.
