my mother was an animal hoarder. Watching my mom and dad give a cat a dish soap enema on the kitchen counter was pretty creepy. Oh yea, the cat was dead in the morning.

Ganjamojo < raised by wolves
About 20-25 years ago, in my '40s, I was sitting alone in my 11th floor apartment, doing something on my computer. I heard a woman scream outside my window, then a loud noise. I went running to my balcony and looked over the edge. There she was lying on the ground, she moved a little, then nothing. I went back inside and called 911. A minute later, my girlfriend called and said "What's going on, I had this urge to call you" Shortly after that, the police showed up at my door. First thing they did was shine a flashlight on my mattress. The word came out later that she had jumped from her 16th floor balcony, five floors directly above me, after leaving a suicide note for her boyfriend who had announced that he was leaving her. Hours later he came home, I could hear him scream her name. After that, I had the willies for weeks, I refused to go out on my balcony. That was heavy.

The creepiest thing that has happened to me is something I don't wanna share here but yeah I can share this incident that happened to me long ago. Before that, do you guys believe in ghosts? Well some of you might do and some doesn't but this story wasn't made up. It was the time when I was 3 or 4 years old when my family shifted to a house, in a bedroom my brothers used to sleep on the bed and me and my mom right next to them on the floor, so there was a almirah beside me on the left side, yk there's some space under almost every almirah, so every night when I go to sleep, I had this habit of waking up at midnight to drink water, that day when I woke up and turned around I saw a black cat with bright golden eyes looking at me, so I took my pillow and covered that space. Next morning When I woke up my mom asked where's your pillow, I told her everything. She removed that pillow but nothing was there which made me even scared . Next day I saw that cat again but I was so scared that I couldn't even speak a word, I just turned to my mother and slept hugging her. I saw it like for a month or so but whenever I complain about it my parents would think that am just having bad dreams and tell me not to think much about it. But later on my mother exchanged the sleeping place with me. That was the first and last ghost experience of mine. Later on my father also said that he saw the ghost of my grandmother that she was sitting with him on the sofa but when he went into her room she was sleeping there so who was on sofa with him lol. It's my father's thing that he see ghosts in almost every house we lived in. I seriously don't believe him lol

Re: #6 -- The genuine excellence of @CSKA_Moscou 's English can only make me hope that it is NOT his second language, despite the fact that he displays the Russian flag. If it IS his second language, that's fairly intimidating. I can only marvel and realize that I have much more work to do on my own second language.
Piano. Expert rating. The dude is impressive. Indeed, there are several very impressive people posting to this forum. I guess that shouldn't surprise, given that this is a chess site.
Thanks, Lichess. You provide us all with excellent company.
