I *think* typically about 200-300 points, but it depends on the player and given that world lockdowns have stopped most chess for a year it is hard to know precisely.

At all of you in this thread who had fast improvement to 2000 and beyond, eg. @VaibhavBachani, @super_pro12, @WinOr10PushUps, @VihaanDumir, @Simplastic:

What did you do to get better so fast?
Books? Which ones? Videos? Which ones? What else?

@Alakaluf i don’t read books, I don’t watch videos, I learned chess from my couch 3 years old.

i had fast improvement in rating because I had more experience then my earlier opponents ect, it has been 1 year playing lichess when in chess.com it has been at least 4 years,,,

i had to push my comfort zone some times to reach where I wanted

reaching 2300 was my hardest, yet i still did it.
