Lichess has spoken out against the war, but it would also be discrimination to exclude every Russian player from competing in those qualifiers due to their nationality. As long as they don't have a public pro-war opinion, they're allowed to play just like anybody else.
Yes I agree with you, but it was not for Russians to be able to represent their country by putting the flag on the profile.
