I've recently won $100, what's my best use of that money in chess?

are they worth it for my level? and if so, is there a place for me to find some cheaper coaches?
Honestly, based on your ratings, don't waste the money yet. Get better at basic fundamentals, remember to not hang pieces, and do some chess puzzles.

Oh yes. For your level you might want to hold off. I am not sure my friend. Just spend on it something you enjoy - like others suggested a physical board or something. You can also pay for USCF membership fee....
Put it into a savings account until you're strong enough to benefit from courses in a way you wouldn't from free material. At your level, simply watching free videos, doing tactics and playing is more than enough. I feel like even at this level, every time I just play and do tactics for a few weeks I see my rating improve.

If that won't convince you, I honestly think a chessbase membership could be helpful.
I've just decided to accept challenges. $100 per game. Inquire within.

> As the title says, i've recently won $100 dollars and having been intrested in chess for a bit, i'm wondering my best use of that money that is chess related. I like structured learning, so courses are very easy for me to comprehend, i also like books if that's any help. also, i'd be interested in any chess books that aren't for studying, but are for fun. like a book on the history of chess, or something like that. Thanks in advance!

Buy yourself a platinum membership and a gold for me. I will appreciate and you will love the structured lessons. They are 4823 lessons now, am on lesson 2900 and my rating can prove. All my raring peaks happened when I took structured lessons.
If $100 is a big deal, don't buy any books you can get at the library.

thanks for the advice! i think the general consensus is don't spend a lot of money until i'm at least at the intermediate level?
