I want to play against stronger opponents. However, I can only set (min, max) to (-0, +500) or similar, which in 99% of the games results in opponents as strong as I am. I can remember that years ago it was possible to set a minimum of +100 or something. I there any specific reason, why this is not possible anymore? Or am I doing something wrong?

@ClusterBlaster your rating might be provisional (means that it has a '?' symbol next to your rating.) so you are not allowed to set the filters unless your elo becomes stable. Stability is determined by your 'rating deviation'. I see that your current Rapid Rating deviation is '193.80' . Lower value is considered more stable. This is considered provisional as the number has to be below 110. To make it below 110, you just have to play Rapid games (or whichever format you have the '?' in.) Once it is below 110, you can set rating filter as per your choice.

Thanks for the reply, @TheMagnusAura. However, I have a provisional rating in Rapid, because I don't play Rapid. I also have a "?" in Correspondence, because I never played Correspondence. I want to play against stronger opponents in Bullet, in which I have a rating deviation of 45. So, I think your explanation might not fit my situation here. Any other ideas?

Can you share image of your issue then? Because I think if your rating deviation is 45, you should have no problems.
You can use imugur upload to get a link for your screenshot and paste it here.

Sure, here is the screenshot: https://ibb.co/KjY92jsx
As you can see, I set the controls to a standard Bullet game. But I can set the rating range's minimum to a positive value.

@ClusterBlaster,well, I don't play rapid because it's hard! Packing Kings is much easier!

That's it!
So any thoughts on this?
Probably that playing just stronger player is considered as un polite and un constructive. Think situation where most people would refuse to play weaker players how that would work out?
