@Ar4Asd1_Chess
Well i clicked it and he has no blogs to show however when I search him i find 5 blogs from April and June. Are those the ones you are speaking of ? Did he have others ? Were they removed ?

I think it might be the ones about chess football.. "but what if he made the ones in lichess initially"
@KnightRifle
Good point.
@Ar4Asd1_Chess
Which specific blogs were posted on lichess and were they all posted in one account or many different accounts.
I suggest this topic would be better posted in the feedback forum though as the moderators might be interested but be prepared to show substantciation .
I don't know if you can get chat banned for public shaming a chess.com player but it's probably best to avoid such posts unless you can actually prove them and perhaps not even then.

Well I thought about this but I didn't know where else to report, I don't mean to shame him either. I actually do not even know if this would go in Lichess Feedback or OTD.
The https://www.chess.com/blog/amiruth20/chess-football-a-fun-and-creative-variant blog for sure I know is licenced as I am helping the original creator make the game. I was actually coding on it when I searched Chess Football and found this word-for-word blog.
i think it's definately plagiarism. instead of public shaming you should have privately contacted a mod on chess.com , "it's still not too late"
I did some research in the blog search here and I found
#1 lichess blog Apr 1st 2025
#2 post by vishan K Oct 12 2025 when I click on that the page is not found.
#3 post by FM Mathi _Casa Mar 20 2025
My apologies
It does seem you are completely right
I will alert the one mod I know who actually responds to most questions and get back to you.

I don't mean to shame him though. Just wanted to make the lichess community aware.

https://lichess.org/@/ChessMonitor_Stats/blog/where-do-grandmasters-play-chess-lichess-vs-chesscom/Zoi9GqPK is the correct blog.
Also the chess.com blogs were sent on June so how would they steal a blog on oct.
CHeck the last para of the chess.com blog
*** "How We Collected This Data
All data in this article comes from the ChessMonitor database, one of the largest chess databases in the world. It currently includes:
93 million games from Chess.com
82 million games from Lichess
10 million over-the-board, correspondence, and tournament games (in the Masters Database)
Our data covers all games played by grandmasters as well as those of other popular players. However, some limitations exist. For instance, some grandmasters may use multiple accounts, non-verified accounts, or even retire inactive ones, which could impact the statistics presented. In addition, in most cases the current account title was used (instead of the title at that point in the past) basically answering the question where today's GMs are playing chess.
Like our insights?
ChessMonitor generates analytics and statistics for chess players based on millions of chess games. Based on our data, we are able to produce infographics like the one you’ve seen here. Other examples include our ability to calculate FIDE Elo ratings from Online ratings or our historical analysis of FIDE ratings (from 1971 to 2024).
If you’d like to see more insights like this or have ideas for future info graphics, check out ChessMonitor.com and join the conversation in our Discord server.
