Pairing only online players in Swiss tournaments?

We are having a lot of fun with the Swiss tournaments. Thanks a lot for adding this feature to Lichess!

One question: would it be possible that only players that are online in Lichess are paired? I think this is also how it works in Arena tournaments. This prevents that participants who forget the tournament (for example when there is only one round per week) are paired to opponents who have to wait until the full time runs out. As an alternative you could choose to pair only the players that have been online in the last 15 minutes, to prevent that players who are offline very short (for example because of an interruption) are not paired.

Would this be possible? I think this would prevent quite some annoyance of players who would like to play, but are paired to somebody who just doesn’t show up.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Update: I got an answer by email from Lichess (thanks for that!) on my question: "No, that's not how swiss tournaments are supposed to work."

So, at least for now, it stays as it is.
