For now I have to play it at https://dark-chess.com/ though I agree, Dark Chess would be quite fun (and different from other variants)

It would be cool if dark chess came onto lichess, it’s very hard to find a game on dark chess site. No one there

i feel like the best way to get lichess to take notice of a variant is for it to actually see a significant amount of play elsewhere. a lot of people request s-chess but despite there having been at least a couple online implementations of it, there hasn't been much effort from the community in actually consistently playing on those sites. i think that makes it tough for lichess to justify putting in the effort.
