In Chess960 the first move is of great importance.
How long can the white player think before the game aborts?
I would suggest that the clock should start immediately in Chess960.

I think it says the time for tournament games, otherwise it depends on your opponents patience.

Having the clock start immediately would create other problems and is not as easy of a solution as you might suspect.
