It would be helpful to be able to play out studies without kings on the board.
I am currently setting up studies like RvPPP with the question "can the rook stop the pawns from promoting?" Currently, you can't move pieces on the board because there are no kings. It would be helpful to be able to actually move the pieces around in these sorts of positions. I know asking for being able to set something like alternate win conditions is out of the question, but maybe something like an option to turn off win/draw conditions and just shuffle pieces around would be possible?
Isn't that Board Editor?
Part of the attraction of the studies system is that it's interactive. So, for example, you can turn on sync and play out RvPPP against your students. That does not work with board editor.
