Right from the start of Lichess, the most played variant is Chess960.
I had seen this in a Lichess blog where they shared the statistics and I am unable to find that blog right now.

It's ultra bullet because 16000+ players this week

i hope blitz many members play it

No I am asking Variants not time controls . Variants are like crazyhouse , chess960 , horde , etc .
