Can you close your account for a few months and than reopen it in a few months?

I dont really have time latly and when I do play, Im losing due to being tired and out of shape. I feel like I should take a longer break from chess, but I dont want to lose 16000 games that I played over the years. Is it possible to only close the account for just a period of time?
Just sign out then you can play anonymously if you want to play, when you want to come back your account will still be here.
It's written that closed accounts can be reopened once but, I would be careful because after a few months it's possible that lichess simply delete your games/clean your account assuming you're not coming back.

The safe way is to disconnect and block chess sites in your computer settings (type "block a site on 'your os'"), you won't need to download anything, it's normally just a line to write in a specific file.
