No you can't be by your choice. If lichess thinks you are capable of being a moderator, they will contact you. Hope this helps.

Edit - I guess you can't be one because you violated the Lichess Terms of Services

Don't ask to be a mod, Lichess choose mods by himself.

No you can't, if they think you are capable which i guess isn't possible because u violated ToS, they will contact you on their own.

The answer is" It is not possible to apply to become a moderator. If we see someone who we think would be good as a moderator, we will contact them directly." Moderators usually help people in forums, which is also an answer to why they are in forums so much.

i believe lichess chooses moderators, based on how much you've helped people, or whatsoever. You cannot just choose to be a moderator. It isn't your choice. I found this in the F.A.Q, but I forgot what question it was on. Ill edit this whenever i find the answer

Moderators usually help people in forums, which is also an answer to why they are in forums so much. If u haven't gotten a message from them, you probably aren't going to become a moderator..

You might be wondering, how can lichess see what i've done in order for me to become a moderator? Lichess mods look at almost every forum, but mostly lichess feedback - to help people they can close and delete forums. They might see someone in forums helping people a lot. like 900 forum posts in lichess feedback..answering questions or whatsoever.

I also think this forum belongs in lichess feedback rather than general chess discussion. Lichess feedback is just about questions about lichess and general chess discussion is random stuff about chess. Magnus Carlsen, openings, and other stuff.

Cheaters are applying for moderators… this ain’t politics!
