After a nice opening, for some reason I missed 15...Nf5, ending all counterplay on the Kingside and ready to unleash some pain in the center. After realizing I was in trouble, I desperately looked for a defense, and played 17...Nf5, kicking the Queen while the Bishop on b4 protects the Rook. However, when I let go of the piece, I suddenly realized that I had “accidentally” trapped his Queen! I simply can’t believe it and at that time laughed my head off. Later, even though White was down substantial material, he lunges for counterplay and that devastated me, and I tried hard to look for a way to finish him off quickly. I saw that the Rook sacrifice if there is a pawn on h4 will be possible when the a6 Bishop’s road to f1 is cleared. So I played 34...Rh8, threatening Rh3 and forces him to move his pawn to h4 and then 35...c3, clearing the way for the Bishop. He didn’t notice the sacrifice and snapped the c3 pawn off. I chopped on h4 and he didn’t realize what was happening and took the Rook. After that it was made in 2 and I just played Qxf4-Bf1 mate. So overall this is not my best performing game (since this is Blitz), I still did well and mated him in the end.
