I can't agree with you. What does 34.Qf7+ threaten or achieve? White must continue to play forcefully with 34.e7 (threatening mate and/or promoting the e pawn) because Black, given any time, will succeed in drawing with perpetual check or winning with queen/knight attack (or simply with having all the extra material).
