1. Chess is a very hard game to play.
2. If a given mating problem or other position is not clear to us, that doesn’t mean the problem or position is bad, that means there is still a lot more chess worth learning out there.
3. Chess is a very deep rabbit hole. I think @drnykterstein is the only one who has managed to get to the bottom of that rabbit hole: He draws and hasn’t lost since 2016 at classical time controls in world championship matches. The rest of us are still in free fall.
I’m a 1349 coffeehouse player. I love the game of Chess, but I also have accepted that there are positions out there I can’t see, and even mate in 1s I can not readily solve.
That said, someone might want to file a feature request to not have mate-with-pawn positions be CAPTCHAs.
