Bro I had 11k min in total wth
And there are 526k min in a year
How is this even possible....I honestly appreciate the amount of passion you have for her music

I have genuinely seen multiple people with over 200k minutes

I can't access what everyone else is posting from the mobile app, so here's my top ten songs from my 2025 Wrapped playlist instead. :)

I'm moving away from it, personally, as soon as I find time to figure out why my phone won't let me transfer some old mp3s (like, so old I purchased them years ago) to it via USB cable.

Just been busy this week but do want to free myself from it before the next price hike is supposed to hit.

Yes I'm aware of the million other reasons to not use Spotify. Those are also factors for me to varying degrees but yes my breaking point is "impending price hike," personally.

i mean i use Spotify, but don't worry about prices because i don't have premium haha
its rly not that bad because there's a way to get around ads if you know how to do it correctly

I mean I don't mind giving it up and using the free version for just the podcasts I like and/or switching services if I find something more budget-friendly that's all-around better.

I've used free Spotify and it sucked for music at that time. Granted that was probably 2022. You had a limited number of song skips on shuffle and would get interrupted by ads every few songs and if I wanted THAT I could just turn on a radio. Look, I've made my decision, I am planning to drop it, why do you need to tell me all the reasons why you like free Spotify just because, I, what, said I was dropping it, outlined why so many people lately have talked about dropping it and noted that IMO those are all valid reasons to consider switching.

Heck, I have a gaming buddy on Discord who has mentioned that if you reallllllly reallllly wanna there are not-entirely legal ways to get premium Spotify for free and offered to show me how to set that up. I just don't mind not paying for the premium, getting music via alternate legal means as much as possible and either pivoting away from spotify entirely or using it for just the podcasts I listen to at the gym.

EDIT: I only made the one long post about the reasons why people have been moving away from it b/c someone or other in here was asking why they were seeing so many people talking about how bad Spotify is.
