Tell me a sad story

@goldenbuoy said in #7:

I had to watch my best friend die in front of me and was covered in her blood as I sang her to death. That was 2 years ago.
How??

you want a sad story?
ok.
"Coraline" for me was very sad, when i read that when i was younger i realised that i could never be brave enough like her, and even if many other stories tell me that im not ever gonna be brave/nice enough as their characters, Coraline being te first one hits different.
is submitting to being an npc a sad thing? sure is for me!

While I was growing up, our family dog had a heart murmur. On one holiday, while various uncles/aunts and cousins were at our home enjoying dinner, my beautiful, friendly dog was running in the yard and suddenly collapsed.

I was not there, but suddenly the house was full of children crying loudly who had all been playing with the dog.

I looked out the window and saw my father trying to revive our dog.

Our dog died on a holiday and it broke everyone's hearts. I could not bear to see her completely deceased like that, but my father left a paw out of a sheet in the back of the vehicle, and I touched it to say goodbye.

I remember that the veterinarian had said the heart murmur may be nothing and she could grow out of it, but it turned out it would take her after a mere three years. RIP, Josie.

Coraline for me was a little suspenseful...the other mother is creepy. especially the buttons. and like the other "performer ladies" dress so "weirdly"...you know what i mean.

The saddest story...
In the universe
I believe, Truly,
It's a short story..
It's by Anton Chekhov;
Subject is a small home,
And it is-- the whole story,
The entirety of it, literally,
All of it is simply a child,
She lives with her family,
But they are so so poor
Like barely any food,
Literally at all.
And basically,
Then she dies.
I think.
So it's
The saddest story...

I may be getting some details wrong; I... Part of me can't imagine that she actually dies; but then I actually think she did so... I'll try to find it... Perhaps.
