Black's knights not displaying

Played a game. Black's knights stopped displaying after being moved.

This also has happend to a user. So you need to put dark background and try.

In such cases, try refreshing the page. Maybe lichess.org went under maintenance while you were playing.

Fully closing and restarting my browser worked.

Does this work because of the colour of the knights, or because it forces the system to reload the pieces?

Because it reloads it. Often (always?), changing the board and/or piece set works too.

From what I understand, it's a browser bug.
