To play against the computer with starting from a special position is a superb feature of Lichess. I enjoy to train openings in this way. But in most of my games against the computer, it only makes a handful of moves and then it stops making moves. So I nearly always win on time. This is very frustrating. Is this a bug?

I see you play 30 seconds with the computer. You tried something like 5 minutes ?

I like to play positions from puzzles against the engine. You can learn a lot this way.

This happened to me a few times when practicing endgames. It's usually due to a slow server. Check the server lag at the top of the page; if it's high, I recommend you play later.
