Continuing the topic of cheating

I played on a for money competition site once,

every game I analyzed my opponent had like 13 centipawn average and 100% accuracy lmao

They made it sound like they had such good anti-cheat mechanisms too .. big surprise

Were you playing high rated players, or did you suck so bad your opponents steamrolled you?which site was this, when was this, a purely anecdotal story that probably cannot be verified proves absolutely nothing

When you speak so aggressively you DESERVE to be banned.

You know, here's the thing: I totally understand people getting lots of cheaters, but for me—I've never encountered one in a LONG time. Of course, the problem here might be that I ended up getting paired with cheaters and didn't notice.

Still, I think that Lichess has done a whole lot of improvement on their cheat detection, and it indeed is better than that of https://chess.com even if they are the ones who make news about banning grandmasters and stuff.

Nice case study in #1 – https://lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/all-about-cheating-part-3-lichessorg-vs-chesscom

Well, no, firstly, it wasn't THAT harsh that Lichess might even consider banning them, secondly, free speech and stuff exists, but lastly, that does not affect how Lichess works—They're still going to be doing an amazing job at running this platform, and this MIGHT act as a suggestion/feedback so and only so that they improve the detection system. No radicalism!

... I sleep well at night, knowing that I never, ever cheat, and that those who do cheat will get their comeuppance either in this life or the next.

I'm not gonna jump to cut in the line on judgement day but I can honestly say I'm looking forward to finding you to watch the chronicles of retribution to cheaters at chess chapters and, of course, Jesus Christ redemption. No other name given under heaven by which men must be saved. Halelujah!

Anyway, who has time cheat? Just so dern good: rnbqkbnr/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/RNBQKBNR w KQkq - 0 1

@Szczentrzeburza you said "First of all, it seems, whatever solutions Lichess is using, it is not enough."
OK, we are all waiting for YOUR solution now...

Not to anybody in particular, but rather to the interested player, generally: there IS an easy solution to make sure one henceforth NEVER gets beaten by a cheater at chess!

Indeed, the solution is absolutely foolproof and can be implemented for free!

Can you guess what it is? I swear, I'm not faking -- the solution REALLY DOES exist! Word! (Or whatever it is that young people say today to indicate they are utterly sincere).

Ooooooh, Noflaps must be a gee-nee-ous for coming up with a perfectly effective solution so fast!

The problem is, I don't think it can be patented, since "obviousness" might prove to be a disqualification at the patent office.

That was a hint, by the way.

Semi-Bingo, @Quasabianth ! Good job!

The solution: don't play chess at all.

It's not a solution that I like -- but it DOES absolutely eliminate the possibility of playing chess against a cheater.

File it under "Throwing Baby Out With Bath Water."

Why is it that Russians are always way ahead when it comes to figuring out matters pertaining to chess?

And, for that matter, how is it that Russian kids are able to speak Russian at such a young age? The only Russian I know is "Spasiba" -- which means "thank you," I think -- and I may not even have spelled it correctly!

P.S. After looking it up, it might be spelled: "Спасибо". Which continues to mystify me.
