Should I write my Diary on a physical diary or should I type it on Microsoft Word?

well you know, I say physical dairy, because only the feeling of the pen in your fingers is nice enough.
I suggest a third option. Voice Diary. Plenty of voice recording devices nowadays.
@Dragon-Emperor, this is a good question that I've wrestled with, too. I use a physical journal and I enjoy all the pros that people have mentioned. Sometimes I think about a digital journal (for the pros suggested by people here), especially for the benefit of being able to edit, but then the privacy nut in me gets paranoid. In the end, I think I'll stick with a physical journal for now. I do enjoy creating a personal, tangible, handwritten "souvenir" that's fun and satisfying to look back on.

Two times when I was traveling, I experimented with using the "Notes" app on my cell phone to record each day's activities and things I wanted to remember. Nothing fancy, just a handful of sentences each day, plus pictures I inserted. It was a super convenient way to create a simple scrapbook of our trips! I know there are apps for this kind of journaling, but I wanted to keep things simple. Anyway, I guess for everyone it's a personal decision based on what one values most.

@ryan121, that would be interesting to try that! It would be like on Star Trek -- "Captain's log, stardate 1234567. I encountered something totally weird today ..."
Well, thank you guys for your help. I chose to type it on MS Word, mainly because of privacy. By typing on MS Word, it is made sure that no one will be able to see what I write cuz I have put a password on it. I can now write whatever I want, without the fear of getting exposed. I can now write things that I hesitated to write on a physical diary. I have planned to make monthly documents i.e. one document for one month. After the month is complete, I will save it via sending it to myself on gmail.
Also, it is far easier for me to type rather than write on a physical diary. I usually have loads to write and on many occasions, I don't have time, so I can just quickly type it.
@Dragon-Emperor, if you're going to use MS Word, you might want to think about using OneDrive, which is a cloud storage service offered by Microsoft. I believe they offer some amount of storage for free. That would be a convenient way to save your work since it's integrated with Word already.
@Dragon-Emperor
Well, it's your wish and do whatever you feel easier.
In terms of privacy, typing is more secure (not completely since it can be hacked) than writing it down as Anne Frank's Diary was saved by the secretary of her father.
@Dragon-Emperor
Won't you try Voice Diary? It's Cool 😎 You can save it on Cloud storage so even if you lost the device, your diary is saved. A sample.
