As the title states im wondering if there are any real punishments for letting your time run out instead of resigning or abandoning a game bacause you didnt like your opponents first move. And by real punishments i mean something more severe than a 10minute ban or whatever.
Of course there are. The playban gets longer with new infractions, and in extreme cases your account will be closed.
Ah okay, i think its just weird that there are accounts that are like 8 years old and lose every second game by letting the time run out in lost positions instead of resigning.
