> hello, thanks for the advice, I will make sure to follow it. I myself am a hardcore e4 guy so I guess i should try d4 having only played it when i was 1700 last time. The only problem with playing OTB is that where I live, chess tournaments barely happen, they are costly and also the fact that 1600-1700s here are 2300 chess.com makes me feel a little dissapointed that im only 1500 when i should be 1700-1800 elsewhere. Ive only played a few tournaments, so i guess playing moree should help me get the feel of irl chess. Honestly, once i reached 1900 an year ago, I didnt study anything at all. No puzzles nothing only playing again and again except a few openings here and there. And though it did help me understand the game better as I improved my positional skills, now though my positional skills easily better than 2200, my other parts of the game are sub par. For the past 6 months the only fun thing ive done in chess was create a smurf acc to troll 1700s. Anyway now that ive done rambling, thanks for the advice, I will try to follow what uve said.

> BTW, i noticed that you played my 3 months ago in blitz and won me haha, now im 2200 blitz maybe i can draw? 1v1 me sometime pls. @Bbao23

Coincidentally, I actually played against you about three months ago when your Elo was around 1900, and now it's nearly 2200, quite impressive. But I won't let myself fall behind either ;), as my goal is to reach 2300 soon. I'm studying and practicing diligently to achieve that, and I have an upcoming over-the-board tournament on April 14th, so I'm really focused on my preparation. "So you won't easily defeat me hehe"

BTW Is there a sports center in the city? You could try joining a chess class there. With your level, you'd be more than welcome, or simply look for chess clubs in your area. These environments can provide you with positive energy and keep you updated on chess tournaments (small to large, cheap to expensive.
@Bbao23 no sports center or maybe if there is its super duper costly.

Actually going from 1900 to 2200 isn't too big because honestly at that time I wasn't taking blitz so seriously and wasn't really in a good mood when I was playing blitz. So when there was a blitz tournament in my school I took blitz more seriously and just tried to actually win so I got to 2200. I got 6/7 but my loss was to a 1900 :(.Now the same things happening with my rapid rating.
@Chesss_Is_The_Life i basically did the same thing as you I went from 1400-2100 in my first year then I’ve stopped taking it serious since then. But I really do enjoy crazy house. Maybe give crazyhouse a go, it’s so fun!

As an example; it's not necessarily everyone who likes it, even if it's by far one of my favorite games of all time.

Have a look at trailers first and maybe a part of a walkthrough on YouTube to see if it is your kinda game.

Looking at a good film or serie, listening to music, etc.; these are other things to do to have change in our daily routine.
Bro If you do something, you should do until you can not anymore, do not quit!! Otherwise I will come to your bed tonight :))
