Dear classical chess friends,
We’d like to announce a new exciting individual tournament!
We have created some innovating rules to make it a different, quite unique event.
Thanks to that higher and lower rated players can enjoy it all the same.
Introducing:
1st Special CCL KO Matches!
The matches are best of 2 rated 60+30 games.
A 3rd game will decide if the score is 1:1 after 2 games.
The higher rated has always white in game 1 and 3 if a tie-break if needed.
In the that tie-break game black only needs to draw to win the match.
This compensates his small disadvantage.
You have 2 weeks to play 2 games, arranging day and time with your opponent.
You have another week to play game 3 if a tie-break if needed.
To make the tournament even more interesting we pair the players with the nearest classical rated in all stages..
This means that number 1 faces number 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6 etc.
This guarantees exciting, tough and quite equal matches at all levels!
Thanks to these special rules lower rated players have also excellent chances to move on to the next stage!
Don’t miss this fascinating tournament!
Registration is open now!!
