Can a team be reopened??
lichess.org/team/chesspirates was closed and now it's opened. Congrates to the team it got it's 800 members back but how it's possible to reopen a closed team. Please reply

Is it possible to reopen it, since this was an accident?
It is not possible to leave the team afterwards is it?
So I am imprisoned in a closed team forever. This is quite illogical and I think for a logical based chess page, this is a shame.
Why is it like this? Why can't there be a button that allows people to leave a team after it was closed forever, What is the point of imprisoning teammebers like that?
And furthermore, a team can be reopend, as it has been done with chesspirates.
So why are we being lied to like that by the mods who say it cannot be done, when this is obviously not true?
@Zher0 only with EXTREMELY SOLID REASONS will a team be re-opened as it is an EXTREME WORK for the mods as lichess is coded to not allow to re-open teams. At least it gives u a confirmation dialogue before closing...
Those just sound like excuses to me. This is surely not more work than reopening an account.
There was no such dialogue when that team in question was accidentally closed, probably due to the downgrade or update whatever...
But of course it's easier to lie and treat people like a piece of you know what, than actually listening to people who complain and really want to improve this faulty page.
Great way of dealing with issues & great lichess policy. This way it will never improve

We continuously conducting checkmate coronavirus prize money tournaments with free entry almost every week and we reached 2000(maximum) entries two times in a month, but we don't know the reason suddenly our 'Andhra Pradesh chess association' team got closed in lichess it has 6000+ members in that.
we don't know how to reopen it so please consider my request quickly and do us a favour in opening it
