I'm from two countries, so I'll be giving clues about them one-by-one:
Country 1: dolma and pilab are poular dishes here, and the Turkish government has denied that a genocide ever happened here.
Country 2: famous for Daler Mehndi songs and is the real home to chicken tikka masala.

if majority of people muslim you can call muslim or if law itself stating that countrys religion muslim you can still call muslim country
no need to be sensitive
