King of the hill:

1) King of the hill is the closest variant to standard Chess (that there is on Lichess).

Develop your pieces - Castle - look-out for Skewers - checkmates - and only later in the game bring your king to the center.

2) If your opponent starts running with their king: Don't let it get to close to the center.

If they start running prematurely, and you stop it: You will be at an advantage, due to their (probably) awkward King-position.

3) Try to create a French-like structure - to control the center as much as you can.
