Lichess I was playing a tournament......(swiss)after 3 rounds I accidently withdrawed.Then I tried to join but cant join.Is this only for me or other people also.If its for everyone.Pls change it

What about closing the entry 5 mins before the tournaments first round starts?Then who join before 5mins before the tournament should play all the rounds.

Swiss tournaments are designed to disallow very late entrants. If a Swiss is more than half over, you can't add new people.

But if you're the tournament organizer, there is a little hack that you can do.

What you can do is go in, edit the tournament, add a bunch of rounds, admit the latecomer, and then edit again, bringing it back to the original number of rounds.

Whether or not this is a "good" thing to do with respect to the integrity of the tournament overall, it is a way to let people join really late.
