I just played a great game as black using the accelerated dragon. None of my opponent's threats seemed to work out and I delivered a nice checkmate. This is why I use the accelerated dragon. 10+0 time control

His 13 Bh6? blunders away a piece.

It seems that tpr never has anything nice to say.

There were mistakes that are to be expected at this level, but the attack was great.

@jonesmh often the truth is not nice. Great game? Beautiful? Just a blunder...

@tpr Beautiful games are often most accurate ones. Many of the best games are from time when less theory was known and there were many mistakes. If you look at highest level games they are usually just boring draws.

Yes, Bh6 was a blunder, but the attack, especially for the player's level, was good.

Speaking of the truth, I looked at some of your games, and I wouldn't say your play was much better than theirs. (Of course, my games contain some howlers too.)

@jonesmh it is easy to attack a piece up, much harder to attack a piece down e.g. a sacrificial attack. Normally white would resign after losing the piece. I see nothing great or beautiful here, but maybe that is just me.
About my own games, I have never ever posted one of mine, and certainly not with the qualification great or beautiful. I am well aware of my shortcomings.

Whilst I see tpr's point, I would be proud of that game at my inflated rating let alone someone of the OP's rating. It may not be objectively beautiful, but it is rather good for someone who is little more than a beginner. Keep it up.

Ok, the piece drop is not elegant, but you had a nice position at this stage. He should have played 5.c4, Maroczy, which is probably the best setup for white against the accelerated Dragon. Then he should not have played 6.Nxc6, improving your center. Later you missed a mate in 3 on move 29.
