With the above in mind, how do I know I am talking to a human on the forums and not a chat robot?
We are not robots... we are not robots ..... we are not robots ...

All the network activity that I see when I completed my CAPTCHA is a GET request to lichess.org/captcha/ZBktgIet?solution=a6+b5

The mouse movement can be tied to a random number generator and then limited to certain range so computer doesn't move in straight line.

My guess is that the site just wants to discourage spam bots on the forums, even though it can't be prevented fully. The mods should really make users solve a captcha before playing moves in their games as well.

whose going to even code that for a computer to just post a message
plus we also need to code the sensing that what is this topic (unless computer is spammer) and reply accordingly, blah blah blah
so in the end many of us probably dont even know how to code simple HTML

I would also make to solve a captcha when it's my opponent's turn.
