Please take a look at these two crazyhouse games. It should have shown mate. Is this a bug?

Yeah, those should both have been mated positions.

Yeah, those should both have been mated positions.

If it is Crazyhouse neither of those are checkmate if the player defending has any material in hand they can interpose.

In the second one black dropped the bishop he had captured a few moves earlier so definitely has nothing in hand. The other game is long, so I'd have to run through it more carefully. White has just dropped a pawn that was captured a couple of moves before. If the number of moves that has x matches the same number that have a @ then there is no material in hand.

First game you took the f6 Pawn with your Bishop, so you have a pawn in hand to cover the mate, second game I don't know

He took it and used it in the very next move. He didn't have any material left...

there were no pieces to put on the board in both games.

there were no pieces to put on the board in both games.

So there are no pieces to drop, but the server looks at the position on the board and for crazyhouse, just looking at what is on the board, it isn't checkmate. You have to look to see if anything is in hand too.

I guess that is the bug they said they are fixing.
