Who is GM Konevlad?

> 1. It promotes further tournaments for all other contestants to play on "private" accounts.

So what? This is only a problem if we already accept your argument that this is a big problem.

> 2. It gives anonymous users an unfair advantage over others. In regular tournament matches there is tons and tons of hours of preparation GMs do against specific sort of opponents.

I'd love to hear from one titled arena participant who did specific opening preparation against anyone.

> 3. It disappoints all the fans that were watching all their games really wanting to know who this person is that won, especially those who donate to lichess.org like me.

Judging from this thread you are in a small minority on that one. I want to see good chess and if some strong player is in the arena who wouldn't be if they had to identify themselves (for whatever reason) then I'm for it.

> 4. It causes unnecessary forums like this one... with lots of back and forth speculation that literally goes nowhere.

What a disaster, just think of all the wasted electrons!

> 5. Increase possibility of cheating chances in future tournaments perhaps if every single person is "secretive" in these cash prize events?

What makes you think if someone cheated that Lichess would not reveal the identity of the cheater?
NEWS FLASH:
Konevlad could be bulgarian.
According to translate, Konevlad means horsepower in Bulgarian.
