Should we be spanking children?

the husband enters the room and slaps his wifes ass, BobJiffy0.
no harm happens in the story not even maybe, BobJeff01. Yo

Do you not see how these scenarios are any different? I assume that the wife is comfortable with that, that shouldn't be a big deal, she's a consenting adult, this is much more different than hitting a child because
1.they did not and cannot consent to getting hit
And
2. You are hitting them to inflict pain, unlike the scenario with your wife

Alternate answer #1

Yes! We need to stop not playing chess in the degenerate forum (best one ever) and head to peevey patty's spankinass_paddles_switchery and psychological controller rink arena and martial arts training center and gymnasium and sign up for a membership, get a free paddle, and go sit in the lounge, have a coffee, and continue talking there.

I think there are some adults who need a good spanking

A famous 18th-century French philosopher seemed to like remembering this a little too much...

Telling a child no does not work. If you are unwilling to do a non-harming corporal punishment, then your word carries no authority. Children bellow the age of eight are narcissistic by nature, and telling them no is not going to counteract that. For those who disagree, do you have children who are obedient to you?

Also, the Bible says in Proverbs 13:24

Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children.
Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

There are many other punishments you could do that are appropriate to the offense given, there's no need to resort to violence, children are not narcissistic in nature, they need moral guidance, most studies show no long-term improvement, just be civil

All blind
it is pervasive negative thinking causes us to term discipline as punishment.
As if children don't start innocent and with consistent good input, activity, and training would not be really really good people. These problematic innocent children haven't been loved and seek instictually to test their environment and challenge their neglect out of hunger for their deeply heartfelt very real and reasonable needs. And they go on into punishment for the rest of their lives. Moreover there is no understanding to mitigate their plight. There is no understanding in all the world.
