Why does nobody rematch after they win?

Really? Well, half the time I decline a rematch to an unknown person, he calls me a moron and curses my mother. But that is not an abuse, sure it isn't. Our RIGHT is to decline rematches whenever we want, whereas it is not your right to insult us.
@alekhinesgun1937

Then go ahead and address it with that person or report them, or decline a rematch, as is your prerogative.

"Your"
"Our"
"Insult"

Nobody here has insulted you.

I will surmise that most people decline rematches for the following reasons, above all others:

1. They are scared they will lose a second game and their points.
2. They won on the basis of a blunder that will not be repeated in a second game.
3. They won on time in a losing position and realize that, with greater concentration by their opponent in a second game, they will likely lose.

People want to hold on to their pride for dear life. That is why people play one game and "run."

"I won. I'm better. I feel good. I don't need to prove anything, to anyone."
"
That is what you think. I decline rematch when i feel like it. I don't give a flying fuck about rating points here since online chess is not real chess.
If I were scared to lose my points, how does it make sense to decline a rematch against someone I have beaten? If I beat him, why would not I do it again? Why would I risk to play another, stronger opponent who might beat me?

This is also thrashing people who decline rematches. It might not be called an insult, but it is certainly not a praise, and not true at all. From the sentence above it is easy to see that your post is a troll attempt, and here I am definitely done speaking with you. Have a nice day and I hope a lot of people will feed the troll.
I provided a list of reasons I believe many people do not accept rematches. Some posters have confirmed that they do so, for at least some of those reasons. Others have agreed.

I'm glad that you don't care about points.

Nobody is insulting you.

I hope you are as civil over the board as you are on these forums.
Well, over the board is different. In tournaments, I do care about points. My clock is ticking. All of us are talents until the age of 18.

"It might not be called an insult, but it is certainly not a praise, and not true at all."

It is true is some instances. If you want to be praised, create a separate forum topic and make sure to request it.

The level of sociopathic behavior on these posts is absurd.
Over the board should not be different. I understand that a lot of people get a kick out their anonymity online, but the chess culture suffers from it.
